Rideshare driver
You pick up passengers in your own car through Uber or Lyft and drive them where they need to go. Work whenever you want, and you're paid per ride plus tips.
I love meeting people from all around the world 🌎 and having great conversations with people during the rides.
I love the flexibility. I love the time I get to spend with my family. I love getting to drive around town and being active and like seeing new destinations and talking to people and helping people every day.
Hate Ubers take on my earnings I would change what a drivers take pay is, increasing it given our vehicle wear and tear
I chose my own schedule
Driving Uber is great for people who don't mind 2 things , driving and people lol. With auto accept it can feel like consistent ride after ride which makes time goes by fast and u can meet some truly interesting people ! if your just starting out, only advice I would give is always start on a full tank and keep something to protect you at all times! I would only change the fact that if u buy a new car and work Uber you have to wait for the official registration before they let u drive again. which I don't believe is fair if we have the "receipt" and have to wait 90 days for the dmv.
The Rideshare process is perfect for my layered and sporadic schedule, but I often feel depressed that so much of my earnings go to gas, maintenance, and uber. I think that higher rated and more committed drivers should be offered benefits (health) and more of a per ride payout.
I enjoy talking to strangers which helps me with tips. I even have some people mark me as a favorite. I would recommend little thing nags like having phone charges in the back seats and asking they need anything.
The people get a dash cam
