Question
Do you know if the employer can get tax deductions from reimbursing employees' mileage?
- Anonymous
Answer
Yes, an employer will get a tax deduction for reimbursing employees for mileage so long as the employee is required to provide an expense report in a timely manner that documents the miles driven and the purpose of the trip (i.e. driving to a client's office, picking up office supplies, etc...)
