As an independent contractor and part-time/seasonal worker, Keeper is an amazing value and an incredible tool for filing taxes and logging expenses. I've had it for three years now. Before that I would file my own taxes. The amount of time saved with expense categorization and the value of having my return reviewed for audit risk is worth every penny.
Very easy to use
It was straight forward and very easy. I used a CPA last year and it took about 2 months for them to finish filing my taxes. This year I did a bunch of research and decided to file myself but with a platform that helps a little more than intuit or TurboTax. I paid the premium since I still have a complicated return, however its the same price as my previous Cpa. I was able to sit down and finish my taxes in about a day and a half. I like how I also have access to a CPA call once every 3 months so it doesn't feel like I'm doing it totally solo.
Extremely easy to use Keeper Tax! They were able to file my extension and complete my return in a matter of minutes. Not sure I'll use anything else moving forward.
As a small business owner, keeping track of my expenses is one more task to add to my to-do list that I don't want to take on. Keeper Tax makes it super easy to mark expenses as personal or business-related and after using them vs TurboTax for tax filing, I'm hooked! I could drag and drop any tax forms I sent into Keeper and their software pretty much did the rest!
I left my taxes for the very last minute. I am a freelancer, 1099, so delaying makes the pain less bad in my mind. ANYWAY, it was too late to file with an accountant and I figured they just enter the same data into a program anyway. KEEPER helped me a ton by finding deductions in my accounts for me, then I could adjust as needed. I'll for sure use this from now on.

Keeper its great, it has a great AI chatbot to help out with deductions, lots of articles, and also REAL PEOPLE that will take either your message or request once elevated in seconds!! Also their algorithm for deductions is quite good and simple, and once your deductions are finalized and you scanned all your tax forms, A REAL TAX PROFESSIONAL will go thru your taxes and give you feedback and alerts.

This is the first time I have utilized this software and service. Very intuitive, easy to use, and highly comprehensive. My only complaint is what I owed vs. what Keeper said I owed was drastically different, even with its estimating tool. Excellent product and I will better utilize it for this year's taxes. Keeper has been so helpful and made it so easy to keep track of my business expenses - it was so easy to file my tax return through them and add my deductions from the year! The app/website was able to answer every question I had in regards to the return and filing process. For reference, I'm a contracted worker and receive a 1099 each year.

KeeperTax simplifies answers to your tax questions and offers action steps to produce a correct tax return. All tax completion procedures seem complicated. KeeperTax AI and an assigned CPA were simpler than other tax preparation methods, which had confusing and conflicting opinions.

Keeper makes things easy, while overall very affordable. The AI/bot responses are quick and effective, and when automated answers don't work Keeper will connect you with a live representative to help. Can file taxes directly on app, to IRS and state. No actual CPAs are available, suggest utilizing independent CPA if needed. But Keeper does a pretty good job laying out all the parts of filing taxes. The tracking of expenses and deductions is a godsend.
Keeper Tax made this process so much easier than I expected. Although I owed quite a bit of money, I am confident they did it accurately. With the complication of my Real Estate income, my Military retirement and my Spouses W-2, this was way easier than expected!
Have filed taxes for years with HR Block - Keeper DESTROYED their service. Gave us the max refund with special circumstances due to w2 employment, freelance income, capital gains loss and took into account our deductions that we didnt even know we were entitled to! Took a negative return owing the IRS hundreds of dollars to a positive return of thousands of dollars. Cant recommend highly enough!
I enjoy Keeper, it's pretty no-nonsense. I can live a busy life and not stress so much about taxes.
