Breeding is quite the undertaking. You really have to love your breed and enjoy working with people. Despite what people online say, it can be very lucrative and should be for the time you’re putting in. The demand is totally there and selling, I’ve found, isn’t hard at all if you’re doing it right. It’s a wonderful side gig because you can make a lot, but you can’t rely on it because breeding is finicky. Sometimes the moms don’t fall pregnant or things happen. Overall, it is fun and nice to have a break between litters.
