I love the flexibility and creativity of freelance writing. Being the one who makes main decisions feels freeing, and it gets easier with time. A piece of advice for those starting out is get clear on your why — and then commit to it without distractions (which can come up easily!). If you're considering going freelance, first plan out your monthly expenses, and try to find reoccurring clients so your income would be more predictable. Also, stay in touch with your network from school or previous jobs. You never know what your next project could be! Last but not least, believe in yourself fully.
