Michael Eaton, CPA

Michael Eaton is a certified public accountant with 15 years of experience as an accountant. He graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and passed the requirements of the CPA exam shortly thereafter. His accounting career started at a small public accounting firm, where he specialized in business audits and corporate tax preparation. After eight years, he moved into a Tax Manager position at another local CPA firm, where he specialized in corporate and high-wealth individual tax preparation and review. He also consulted with small to mid-size businesses during this time to help them plan for upcoming tax law changes and structure their businesses in tax-friendly ways. Currently, he is a controller for a mid-size construction company, where he is responsible for the entire accounting department, financial statement preparation, and tax preparation. He also works as a freelance CPA, helping small businesses and individuals with their accounting and tax needs.
